Customer Activity

The app records everything a customer does with their digital order. This allows you to see exactly when they downloaded content or revealed license keys, how often, and from what device and IP Address.

What's recorded​

  • Downloads. Every time the customer downloads a file or opens a link.
  • License key reveals. Every time the customer reveals a key, including when Keys Stay Revealed shows their keys were automatically revealed on a later visit.
  • Order status page visits. Every time the customer opens their order status page, whether or not they download anything.

Each entry has the date and time, and the customer's IP address, operating system and browser. Only clicks that lead to the customer accessing the resources are recorded. A download blocked by a download limit or a time limit isn't logged.

Evidence in a Dispute​

Together, the logs show that the customer received what they paid for: when they opened their order, when they revealed each key, and when they downloaded each file, from which device and IP address. That's often your strongest evidence when responding to a return or chargeback.
