Settings
Our belief is store owners should have as much control as possible over their store and the customer experience. With that in mind, we provide comprehensive settings to manage inventory, restocking, chargebacks, customer-facing elements, etc.
What you can configure
- How the app runs your store (Global Settings): Shopify inventory, restocking returned keys, chargebacks, key uniqueness, order tags, and how long and how often customers can download.
- What your customers see (Checkout Extension): the title, button text and messages in the downloads block on their order status page.
- What your staff can do: who can view, change, delete or export each part of the app. See Staff & Permissions.
- What the app tells you: alerts when something in your store changes that you might want to check. See Alerts & Notifications.
Settings at three levels
Store-wide settings are the default. Some can also be set on a product, or on a piece of content, to override the defaults:
| Level | Can set |
|---|---|
| Global | Everything. This is the default for every product and piece of content. |
| Product | Button text, license key terminology, Auto Sync Inventory, Auto Restock Inventory. See Product Settings. |
| Content | Download limit and time limit. See Download Limit and Time Limit. |
See Setting Priority for exactly how they work together and which settings take precedence in different scenarios.
