Temporary Download Links

A temporary link is a download link to one of your uploaded files that works for anyone who has it, for 24 hours. Generate one from the file in your content library.

Use it to:

  • check a file yourself, without placing an order, or
  • send a file to a customer directly, while you sort out a problem with their order.

Things to know

  • Anyone with the link can download the file until it expires, so only share it with the person who needs it.
  • It isn't tied to an order, so its downloads don't count toward any customer's download limit, and don't appear in customer activity. They do use bandwidth.
  • It's for uploaded files only. A link to a file hosted elsewhere already has its own address.
